One of my grandmothers instilled in me the importance of a heartfelt greeting card from a young age. Although she moved to the United States when I was in primary school, she never failed to send me cards filled with messages that spanned both inner pages, always written straight from her heart. I cherished her cards as a beautiful collection of thoughtful words and artistic illustrations, which were a rarity in Romania at that time. Little did I know that one day, I would have my own company creating and illustrating cards for others to hold dear, just as I held hers.

My grandmother firmly believed in the power of personal expression and never relied on others to convey her sentiments. Inspired by her, I began writing and hand-painting my own cards for friends and family on birthdays and Christmas.

At Botanica Paper Co, every card I create remains blank inside for the same reason: to provide space for your own heartfelt message and personal touch.

I believe that a card, both in its beauty and content, possesses the qualities of a miniature work of art—something worthy of being cherished for generations, even suitable for framing, rather than being tossed away within months.

For those who prefer brevity, I recommend our mini cards. Despite their small size, these impactful cards have the power to touch the hearts of significant others, friends, family members, or coworkers alike. A simple 'thank you,' 'thinking of you,' or 'cheers' can make all the difference to someone dear to us.

Should the space inside a greeting card prove insufficient, I am delighted to suggest our letter writing sets, available in a variety of designs. These sets offer ample room for more detailed and elaborate messages.
