How are your illustrations made?

All our products are illustrated by Oana Befort, Botanica Paper Co.'s founder, illustrator, and designer. Oana hand-paints the artworks using a variety of mediums, such as gouache, watercolors, colored pencils, etc.

Where do you print your products?

The large majority of our products are printed in USA using FSC-certified papers. We love working with local printers and manufacturers as much as possible. A good portion of our greeting cards are also foiled in our studio on a tabletop foil press.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Most orders are processed and shipped in 2-3 business days from our home studio in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Domestic orders usually take between 2 and 7 days to arrive at their destination, depending on the selected shipping method. From time to time delays might occur during the holiday seasons.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship internationally. For International shipments, shipping costs depend on where you live and the method chosen at checkout. 

International transit time may take up to 21 days, depending on your own country's postal system. Please note that we are not responsible for any customs fees or duties on international shipments, as these are the responsibility of the purchaser. 


What is your return policy?

We hope that you love your order, but we understand that sometimes people change their minds. Any unused and unopened products may be returned within 15 days of receipt for a full refund minus the original shipping cost. Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs. Used, opened, final sale items, and discontinued sale items are non-refundable and may not be exchanged.

Can I exchange a product?

We can edit your order and exchange products if the order did not ship yet. Once your order has shipped, exchanges are not an option anymore. In this situation we would be able to proceed with a return and you would need to place a new order for the new items.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

We put a lot of care in packaging your order to make sure it reaches you in pristine condition, but If your package arrives damaged, please email us at within 7 days of delivery.

Please provide a picture of the item and packaging showing the damage.

What should I do if my package is lost?

If you have a package that was marked as delivered but you have not yet received it, we ask you to take the following steps:

1. Check with your neighbors or front office (if applicable) to see if the package was left there.

2. Reach out to your local post office or UPS facility.

3. Contact us at and include your order number.

Please report your lost or stolen shipment within 7 days of the marked delivery date. 

Please note that we are not responsible for refunding or reshipping lost orders due to an incorrect address at checkout.
