How are your illustrations made?

All of our products feature illustrations by Oana Befort, the founder, illustrator, and designer of Botanica Paper Co. Oana meticulously handcrafts each artwork using a diverse range of mediums including gouache, watercolors, and colored pencils, among others. Read more about our process here.

Where do you print your products?

The majority of our product line is printed in the USA, utilizing FSC-certified papers. While our priority is to collaborate with local printers and manufacturers whenever possible, we also maintain partnerships with esteemed international manufacturers renowned for their exceptional quality.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Most orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days.

Domestic orders usually take between 2 and 7 days to arrive at their destination, depending on the selected shipping method. From time to time delays might occur during the holiday seasons.

Where does my order ship from?

All orders are shipped from our studio in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, international shipping options are provided at checkout. For International shipments, shipping costs depend on where you live and the method chosen at checkout. 

International transit time may take up to 21 days, depending on your own country's postal system. Please note that we are not responsible for any customs fees or duties on international shipments, as these are the responsibility of the purchaser. 


What is your return policy?

We hope that you love your order, but we understand that sometimes people change their minds. Any unused and unopened products may be returned within 15 days of receipt for a full refund minus the original shipping cost. Customers are responsible for any return shipping costs. Used, opened, final sale items, and discontinued sale items are non-refundable and may not be exchanged.

Can I exchange a product?

We can edit your order and exchange products if the order did not ship yet. Once your order has shipped, exchanges are not an option anymore. In this situation we would be able to proceed with a return and you would need to place a new order for the new items.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

We put a lot of care in packaging your order to make sure it reaches you in pristine condition, but If your package arrives damaged, please email us at within 7 days of delivery.

Please provide a picture of the item and packaging showing the damage.

What should I do if my package is lost?

If you have a package that was marked as delivered but you have not yet received it, we ask you to take the following steps:

1. Check with your neighbors or front office (if applicable) to see if the package was left there.

2. Reach out to your local post office or UPS facility.

3. Contact us at and include your order number.

Please report your lost or stolen shipment within 7 days of the marked delivery date.

Can I add a custom message to my order?

Absolutely! You have the option to include a personalized message during checkout by selecting the 'Add a note to your order' button.

Can you gift-wrap my order?

Certainly! You have the opportunity to have your order gift-wrapped and sent directly to your chosen recipient. Please follow these steps:

1. Acquire this designated listing to add gift wrapping to your order. The items will be elegantly wrapped using our illustrated wrapping paper, thoughtfully selected to complement the contents of your order, and adorned with a decorative ribbon.

2. If you wish to have the order shipped directly to another recipient, kindly ensure the recipient's name and address are provided at checkout.

3. During the checkout process, should you opt to include a custom message, we will diligently transcribe it onto a flat card and include it alongside the wrapped gift.

Can you create a custom logo or design for me?

Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill custom logo or illustration requests presently. Nonetheless, there are many skilled brand designers and artists available who may be better suited to meet your specific needs and preferences.

Can I buy your art in digital format?
