Our Process
All of our products feature illustrations by Oana Befort, the founder, illustrator, and designer of Botanica Paper Co. Oana meticulously handcrafts each artwork using a diverse range of mediums including gouache, watercolors, and colored pencils, among others. Read more about our process here.

The majority of our product line is printed in the USA, utilizing FSC-certified papers. While our priority is to collaborate with local printers and manufacturers whenever possible, we also maintain partnerships with esteemed international manufacturers renowned for their exceptional quality.

Shipping & Returns
Most orders are packed and shipped within 2–3 business days. Once on their way, domestic orders typically arrive within 2–7 days, depending on the shipping method selected at checkout.
During the holiday season, carriers may experience delays beyond our control. We appreciate your patience — good things are worth waiting for.
Yes — we're glad to share our work with customers around the world. International shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and chosen shipping method.
Please keep in mind that international orders may take up to 21 days to arrive, depending on your country's postal system. Any customs fees or duties are the responsibility of the recipient, as these vary by country and are outside of our control.
We ship via USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL, depending on your location and order type. All orders include tracking, so you can follow your package on its way to you. We handle every order with care before it ever leaves our hands.
We hope your order brings you genuine joy — but if something isn't right, we're happy to help. Any unused, unopened items may be returned within 15 days of receipt for a full refund, minus the original shipping cost. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
Please note that used, opened, final sale, and discontinued items are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
To initiate a return, simply reach out to us at hello@botanicapaper.com and we'll guide you through the process.
If your order hasn't shipped yet, we're happy to make changes or swap items for you — just reach out as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Once an order has shipped, exchanges are no longer possible. In that case, we'd be glad to process a return for any eligible items, and you're welcome to place a new order for whatever you'd like instead.

Order Issues
Every order is packed with great care, and we hope it reaches you exactly as intended. If something arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@botanicapaper.com within 7 days of delivery. Include a photo of both the item and the packaging so we can understand what happened and make it right.
We're sorry for the frustration — please know we want to help. If your tracking shows delivered but your package hasn't turned up, we ask that you take the following steps:
- Check with neighbors or your building's front office, in case it was left nearby.
- Reach out to your local post office or carrier facility, as packages are sometimes held or misrouted.
- Contact us at hello@botanicapaper.com with your order number and we'll do our best to assist.
Please report any missing packages within 7 days of the marked delivery date so we can look into it promptly.
Please note that we are unable to reship or refund orders lost due to an incorrect address entered at checkout — so do double-check your details before placing your order.
General
Yes — if your order is a gift, or you'd simply like to include a note, you can add a personalized message at checkout by selecting 'Add a note to your order.'
Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill custom logo or illustration requests presently. Nonetheless, there are many skilled brand designers and artists available who may be better suited to meet your specific needs and preferences.
Our artwork is not currently available in digital format — it was made to live in the physical world, on objects meant to be held and kept.

Careers
We don’t have any open positions right now, but we’d love to hear from you! Our most common openings are for assembly and fulfillment team members, so if that sounds like a fit, please fill out our interest form. We’ll be in touch as soon as a new opportunity blooms.
All our job positions are currently part-time as well as seasonal positions, especially around holidays. The best way to be notified when openings become available is to fill out our interest form.
Our studio is in Council Bluffs, IA ~ just across the river from Omaha in the metro area.
